Dr. Asgari received his DDS degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, where he was the editor-in-chief of the Columbia Dental Review. He completed a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY, and served as chief pediatric dentistry resident at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York City, in 2007. Jaana Autio-Gold, DDS. PhD See Faculty Courses
Dr. Autio-Gold received her DDS and PhD degrees from the University of Oulu, Finland. She has been teaching at the University of Florida in Gainesville for the past 10 years. Arnaldo Castelluci, MD, DDS See Faculty Courses
Dr. Castellucci graduated in medicine at the University of Florence (Italy) in 1973 and specialized in dentistry at the same university in 1977. As well as maintaining a practice limited to endodontics in Florence, he is past president of the Italian Endodontic Society, past president of the International Federation of Endodontic Associations, an active member of the European Society of Endodontology, an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, and a visiting professor of endodontics at the University of Florence Dental School. He is editor of The Italian Journal of Endodontics and of The Endodontic Informer. An international lecturer, he is the author of the text Endodontics, which is now available in English. Dr. Cloyd is a professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, College of Dentistry, and in the Program in Dental Science, College of Graduate Health Sciences, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Karl F. Leinfelder, DDS, MS See Faculty Courses
Dr. Leinfelder earned his doctor of dental surgery and master of science (dental materials) degrees from Marquette University. After serving for 8 years on the faculty at Marquette, he joined the faculty at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he attained the rank of professor and director of biomaterials clinical research in the Dental Research Center. In 1983, he joined the School of Dentistry at the University of Alabama and held the Joseph Volker Chair. He also served as chairman of the department of biomaterials until 1994. Presently he holds positions at both universities: adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina and professor emeritus at the University of Alabama. He is the recipient of the Dr. George Hollenbeck award (1995) as well as the Norton N. Ross award for outstanding clinical research (1997), and the American College of Prosthodontists Distinguished Lecturer Award (1998).
