Dr. Pitel is currently an associate clinical professor of operative dentistry at the Columbia Uni?versity College of Dental Medicine and course director for predoctoral aesthetics. He also maintains a private general practice in Poughkeepsie, NY, with an emphasis on cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. A past president of the New Jersey AGD, he is an active member of numerous other dental organizations such as the ADA, the AGD, and the Ameri?can Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has re?ceived his Fellowship from the American Col?lege of Dentists, the AGD, and the Inter?national Academy of Dentofacial Esthet?ics, and he holds Level II certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He has authored numerous scientific papers and abstracts and is the author of a textbook on dental impression-taking.
